If you’re an adult living with a mental health condition, join us for our Peer Support Group (formerly known as Mental Illness Recovery Support Group). It is a free, peer-led group for adults living with mental illness or challenges. You will gain insight from hearing the challenges and successes of others, and the groups are led by trained facilitators who’ve been there. By sharing your experiences in a safe and confidential setting, you gain hope and develop relationships. The group encourages empathy, productive discussion and a sense of community.
Our Peer Support Groups are confidential, free of charge, for adults living with mental illness regardless of their diagnosis, and meet every month. The group is led by someone who is also in recovery, someone who understands the challenges you face. Please join us:
This group meets on the first Thursday of every month at the Tomah Memorial Hospital in Classroom B from 6:30 PM – 7:30 PM. Enter through the hospital’s side doors; parking in Mayo Clinic rear parking lot.
